Pizza Hut & Book It! have created an app where you log your child’s reading goal. Then your child can earn a free Pizza Hut personal pizza each month for June, July, and August when they reach their goal at least 15 days in a month. This is for ages PreK-6th grade and you can have up to 5 children per household registered.

Pick up a reading log at your local Nothing Bundt Cakes to participate. Once your child has read 400 minutes, they can redeem it for a free Bundtlet cake. Best kept secret is that this program runs all year long.

Barnes and Noble is back each summer with their reading program. Your child can pick out a free book from the list (It changes each year, so you never have to worry about repeat titles) after reading 8 books. You can find the reading log here or at the store. They advertise for grades 1-6 but if you have children slightly younger or older, they are still able to participate.

Earn 10 free Chuck E. Cheese play points after filling out the reading rewards calendar that can be used for games or activities. You can print out the rewards calendar or ask for one at your local Chuck. E. Cheese. This reading rewards offer is available all year long.

This one takes a little more work to set up and enroll. Talk to your child’s teacher to their class to receive materials. Once a child reads 5 books, they earn a free kids meal coupon. This is also open to homeschool families.

Don’t forget the easiest way to earn books this summer – your local library. Both parents and children can earn free books, prizes, and local swag for filling out a reading log. Go check out your local library beginning of June to August to get your reading log.

You can register online by clicking here if you don’t live near a Half Price Book Store. If you have a store nearby, you can receive a summer reading log and stickers. Starting June 1st, keep track of your child’s reading to earn $5 Bookworm Bucks in July and August. These bucks can be used for anything in the store. All ages are welcome the program.
